Symptoms of Optic Atrophy-

Vision Loss; Some time the cause of vision loss may be difficult to differentiate between optic atrophy and disease of retina. Pale Optic Nerve and thin or absent Optic Nerve fibre layer is typical sign of Optic Atrophy which is only seen by your eye expert.

Diagnosis of Optic Atrophy-

OCT, ERG, MRI / CT Scan, Visual Field Testing

Ayurvedic Treatment of Optic Atrophy-

In acute stage of Optic Atrophy steroid is given in allopathy but no proven treatment reverses optic Atrophy. To save remaining function of eye depends on control of IOP and inflammation.
